Changing a Fuel Filter

IS there anything special I have to do before I replace my fuel filter. Or do I just unscrew it and then press on the top to prime it?

Be sure to clean the water in fuel sensor. :U:

Unplug the wif sensor first. Sometimes it is easier to remove the inner fender liner. It is on my truck anyway.

Danny has a good write-up here:

unscrew the bleed screw too to make the pumping easier.

Naw I never touch my bleed screw. I run out of fuel all the time.:booo:

do I need to disconnect the batteries to reset the computer since my engine light is on?

Because you replaced the filter, the light should go out after 5 good key trips.
