the balance rates look aright, the mos recent set of injectors i had were rebuild ones and one injectors was a +3 and the rest were under one, i had a rough idle and the injector clatter under acceleration made it sound like a 7.3. even with the lift pump you are still getting positive pressure which is far better than stock. i doubt a filter change will do much but we will see

Thanks, didnt see it!
I wouldnt run a K&N , I would look at the other brands available.
What about a boost leak ? I also had one that had the same symptoms, but the wastegate tap was missing lol....It wouldnt really move under its own power though.

hmm, boost leak:humm:

The first place i would check for one of those is where the driver side ic tube passes over the steel powersteering hoses right above the steering gear box. they like to rub against eachother

just changed airdog filter and installed low pressure switch. didnt seem to help any. that was my next question, maybe the TC has something to do with it. but then again i could have a possible boost leak. it seems to take longer to spool. i have done the intake horn mod so im leanin towards a boost leak. i have two tees and the ppe boost valve installed on that one line. i have hose clamps on all but one connection so ill be checking that tomorrow. hopefully thats it. what other places should i check for a leak?

dhardy1357 08-25-2009 06:23 PM

its a dry filter. it looks a little dirty but filter minder shows no vaccuum on it.
