i have always just screwed one of the injector supply lines back onto the injectors to use as a handle and twisted the injector while pulling on it.

well i just checked my turbo a little play side-side none front to back. the inside of it is black from oil soo im pretty sure its safe to say its time to rebuild it or replace it. any ideas......
could i use a LLY turbo on a LB7?

short answer, yes

long answer, down pipe is different, intake mouthpiece is different and you will need to find a way to control the vanes (Fleece?) or lock them down (stupid)

check out the S366 line of turbos. good for stock or all the way to about double the HP depending on your tuning. still need a down pipe and pedestal but better then an LLY turbo.

i was hoping for you to say yes it bolts on easy lol. i know a guy with a LLY turbo with 5,000 miles on it laying in his shop. anyway as far as price/best bang for the buck sould i go with aftermarket or stock turbo. i hope to have the truck at a happy 480-500 RWHP so what ever i buy id hate to have to rebuy granted it is going to be a while before that number. for now i just want it running.

don't go cheep with injectors you'll regret it soon. go with a reputable company.

well ive sent off my injectors the new ones are on back order so im hoping to have them by wed......on another note im going to need tires soon the truck has 235/85r16 i want something a little bigger any ideas and im willing to put spacers/lev kit thanks guys:tu:

stock tires are 245/75/16 is this what you meant?

265/75/16 is a great upgrade that fits on the stock rims and requires no adjustments to get them to clear

285/75/16 is arguably the best size for these trucks and seams to look the best. most have to crank up the torsion bars some to get the tires to clear. a few have to trim the front bumper valance.

turning up the torsion bars and/or putting in a leveling kit will many times make the ride more harsh/stiff. i would only turn them up as much as needed to clear. be aware, the stock shocks dont have much travel left in them and turning but the torsion bar can easily cause them to top out, and man does this make the ride harsh, not to mention damaging them

i purchased a couple of sets of used tires to try out before settling on the 305s in my signature. i really liked the 265s for the way they road, looked and i got the best fuel mileage with them.

it's a dually that's why I was looking at the 255/85R16 BFG mud train
the tire is roughly 33 tall 10 wide with a stiffer side wall so they won't rub when loaded and as far as front bomper I have plenty of clearance I have a ranch hand front bumper so any ideas sinces a dually and I have to worry about rubbing

sorry, didnt see that. i am not too familiar with dually tires. i do know that stiffer side walls can help with tread wear as it can keep the tread from squirming.
