I'm gonna say no a 6.5 could barely pull a 30-40 ft trailer with just one truck or tractor

I will never put in a cummins where a detroit belongs. I think this 6.2 detroit will fit my needs for hauling my toys around. I might not make it to mud bog or fair the quikest but as long i make it i will be happy with my truck.

whats the 6.5 detroit stock horse power numbers and tork

what are the stock 6.5 detroit horse power compared to the 6.2 with a side winder turbo. what is the difference in horse power raiting between them. the 6.5 modied to its highest out put is how much greater then the 6.2 with the side winder turbo

i towed about 9000lb with my half ton 6.2 all stock beside pump turned up a little it hauled it i did 50mph n had a good brake controller there just not meant for heavy hauling i had a 83 with a ats set up and that thing would heat up like crazy!
