Info on lifting my suburban

Hey guys
So Im thinking about lifting the burb 3'' suspension. To go this route will I need to alter brake lines/driveshaft ect or will the pinion angle of the shaft be ok after the lift? Anyone with a 3'' lift on their burban feel free to post pics on this thread please! Thanks in advance

won't have to change a thing, just did one on my 1500. rough country 3 inch suspension. the torsions keys are a bitch and some grinding but if your good with your hands and can read instructions you will be fine

gotta bend the brake like right by the brake out just a bit, but maybe not, thats like the only thing i had to do.

So I can get 20" rims with 35 x 12.5 tires off a friend of mine. What lift would i need, 6"?

ya forsure or cut the fenders and depending on back spacing may need spacers. the back probably would clear but front needs cutting for sure

So my budget is tight, I'm leaning towards a 3" body lift. ive been researching a little and it seems like there are a bunch of modifications. Such as cutting the steering column and adding a 3" section, same with shift linkage. Also front and rear bumber brackets need modification. Fan shroud needs to be cut. Rad hoses and a/c lines need to be moved. all wires and metal lines need to be disconnected from frame. Ect Ect

rough country. i almost guarantee the 3 inch will fit 2500 or 1500. its super simple. not to expensive depends on the distributor. myn was just under 800 from a well priced place in winkler manitoba, that is canada. and thats with best shock you can get from them and add a leafs not blocks and a steering stabilizer. i fit 33 11.5's and i didn't even get my torsion keys in. on a 2500 I'm sure it would fit bigger.
