I have a 96 Chevy with a 6.5 and I wandering how do know or test to see if the pmd or injection pump is going bad?

here some info on testing but to me is know someone with6.5 let try they on your truck is the best way

should have ask you also are getting any codes IP most of the time will gave code and pmd most time don't gave you any codes

Well it would run rough. Wouldn't idle right and now I can't get it to start back up at all

Their is no codes either that pop up. Check engine light doesn't come on. But I can't get my truck to start it only cranks.

Can u test the pmd? The pmd can stop it from starting if its bad?

are you getting fuel to the IP and have check LP to see if it working just cause you here it don't mean it working

is you PMD on the pump , intake, or front bumper

What is the IP and I do not know if the LP is working for sure. I can hear it. And the pmd is on top of the intake.

IP is Injector pump


ok open the T-valve and have someone turn the key on and fuel should pump out it


here other way but not sure if do it 96
