6.5L quits
My 3500 Chevy will just quit in town, I pull it over and wait 3 or 4 mins and it starts right up. Drove it 35 miles and never quit again. I did notice the volt meter was not even close to 14V while up to speed. Thoughts? I just bought this truck, 65,000 miles on it, very clean. Seller told me it sometimes quits in town. He was not sure why either.
thanks, Steve |
So, I have been looking around and it seems like the Fuel filter is the 1st place to start.

thanks, Steve The factory mounting of the PMD on the IP injector pump was a known failure point by G.M. covered by warranty but due to the age of your truck you are out of luck. |
Yes, thanks. I will look into this tomorrow and see where it's located. I know something on top the engine has been changed, the plastic cover will not fit and handed to me by owner. Thanks, will follow up here with what I change ect.
