Thanks racer55. Compression should be fine I'd think with the miles it has. The truck hasn't had a hard life at all. Original owner always kept the truck servied and kept it up. Had a new pump installed when the truck was still under warrente. Are glow plugs and injectors hard to install? I'm new to the whole diesel thing but am learning as I go and reading all I can about a 6.5.

Injectors are fairly easy to change on drivers side but a bit tougher around turbo.

Glow plugs are for the most part easy except near turbo and if inner fenders are removed a lot better access is available-that also helps with injectors.
Some original glow plugs have been known to swell and take more effort and sometimes special tools.
Google swelled glow plug removal.
