Dallas Raceway in Crandall, TX on October 10 - Drag Racing & Sled Pulling - all day til done! Test and tune Friday night!

Brand new track in Crandall, TX with a very modern facility including air conditioned concessions (indoor dining) and suites! Beautiful surface on a 1/4 mile track.

All classes for NADM drag racing and sled pulling. ODRA is gracious enough to offer their help and support for this event.

Classes--

Work Stock:
Limited to stock appearing turbo.
No blocks.
Chips allowed.
No injection of any kind, and all components must be removed from truck.

2.6:
8500# weight limit, hanging weights allowed.
No injection of any kind and all components must be removed from truck.
1" suspension travel in rear.

2.8:
SMTTPA rules
8500# weight limit, hanging weights allowed.
2.8 turbo, bushings allowed.
Water injection allowed.
No nitrous, propane, or methanol injection allowed, all components must be removed from truck.
1" suspension travel in rear.

Teching will be done before pull. No adjustments allowed after truck is scaled. If any questions arise, truck will be held for tech after pull.

PAYOUTS:

Work Stock:
1st- $75
2nd- $35
3rd- $20

2.6 Class:
1st- $150
2nd- $75
3rd- $40
4th- $25

2.8 Class:
1st- $200
2nd- $100
3rd- $75
4th- $50

There will be some tractor and other truck classes also in the show.

Just wondering how many from this site are planning on showing up at the diesel event at Piedmont dragway in Julian, NC (near Greensboro). It's only an hour from me so ill be there with my 1st gen.

Badger Truck Pullers Fall Meeting - Saturday October 10th

The fall meeting will be on Saturday October 10th at Linda's Lookout. It is at the intersection of highways N & A in Grellton, WI. The meeting starts at 1:00 PM. The season will be discussed along with rule changes for next year. Voting will be done for the rookie of the year and puller of the year in each class. If you are a member and have any suggestions on rule changes they must be mailed by October 7th to BTPA, W4294 Hill View Lane, Jefferson WI 53549. If you make a suggestion you must be at the meeting to explain it. Rules listed in red are frozen until the year stated. You can see the rules at badgertruckpullers.com. You do not have to be a member to attend the meeting.

Also the Banquet date has been set for November 7th, 2009 at the Concord House. That is the same place it was last year.
