Gee thanks buddy. :bat: :dd:
gotta love that crappy tulsa weather.... :argh:
We are overcast here. I can't see the moon or even a glow :(
Not sure if the moon is behind the clouds, or behind the SunTrust building that blocks my view to the east from the rooftop of our condo. Anybody know if the shootdown will be visible from the USA tonight, and which way to look? I hope it ain't East! |
i missed it cause i forgot completely about it, only about 1/3 of it is covered now....
its about 3/4 way covered now
You haven't missed it. It has just started, and will take a couple of hours from start to finish.

---AutoMerged DoublePost--- 99.5% covered for us here now, and im getting the best pics i can |
Wednesday’s total eclipse phase will last nearly an hour. Earth’s shadow is expected to blot out the moon beginning around 7 p.m. on the West Coast and 10 p.m. on the East Coast. West Coast skygazers will miss the start of the eclipse because it occurs before the moon rises.
In Houston, the eclipse is exptected to begin at 9:01 p.m. and end at 9:51 p.m. The partial eclipse begins at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday and you can see the partial ending at 11:09 p.m. |

They are supposed to sandwich the moon and Saturns rings are supposed to be really bright. I think Regulus is red and its the brightest star in the constellation.
small red dot?
Probably need a telescope to see em.
