now if you where to inject some flammable gas between the turbo and the engine and figured out how to light it i should cause the pressure to go up and rotate the engine. one way that i was thinking you could light the fuel is run a wire to the cylinder and set up a spark from some high voltage source. now in order to keep the turbo supplying air to the engine you will need to supply it with high velocity gas on to the turbine. a good way to do this is to rout the exhaust from the engine to the turbine side of the turbo. the trick to all of this is to get it to work in unison. of course you'll need to throw in some timing device and open/close the valves on time but i think you could get it to work. this is what i would like to see

I think it's kinda like the "If you hook a generator to an electric motor and have the motor spin the generator will it never quit spinning?"
I know the answer to the above question is no, and I think the answer to your question is also not looking good. Perputual motion is impossible due to (as mentioned above) the law of thermodynamics. However, if it does work, you will be the richest man alive. Youd look at Microsoft as chump change. Even if it doesn't work...keep thinking. Laws are meant to be broken. And whoever breaks them reaps the reward. Remember when it was impossible to break the sound barrier? Remember when we KNEW the earth was flat? Or how about how the sun revolved around the world? Someone has to prove everything wrong...it's only a matter of time, too. |
