I'd definatly go with a GM. The 6.0's are nice motors and the trucks are pretty nice. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the independant suspention though. Oh well.
The Dodge hemi is NOT a truck motor by any means. My dad has one in his 03 2500 and it sucks pulling a trailer and sucks around town. Its comes alive around 4,000rpm though, and sounds real good! :U: I just couldn't bring myself to buy a Ford. Try changing spark plugs on a Triton V8 or V10. fun fun..... |
ill get me an old 454 gasser

the only gasser that i will buy is a dodge V10, i owned one, beat the piss outta it and it ran fine when i traded it.......wish i still had it.

I have the 4.7 in my 05 1500 and it will scoot like hell even with weight in the bed, but I agree. I pulled my 2000 lb tandem axle trailer (empty) with it and I won't do that again. Don't get me wrong, I love my truck but it was definetely not made to pull a trailer. I really don't see where DC got their trailering ratings from. |
