tongue piercings
so im considering piercing my tongue and wanted to see if any of yall have it done and what kinda work it takes to keep it clean and all. ive talked to a couple ppl but im still really on the fence about it.
i know if i do it im gunna get it done at a good shop and make sure that it is done right. any advice either way would be awesome thanks jeremy |

Its not too bad. I got mine done about 8 years ago. Eat good before you go to get it done, my tongue swelled up bad. Couldn't eat much the next day. Think it was cuz all the beer I drank after :humm: Its easy to keep clean, mostly keep your mouth away from other people for a couple of weeks. :c:

I think that a guy with his tongue pierced is hot. Just my 2 cents.

i had my tongue pierced for 3 years. only problem i ever had was right afterwards, because it was swelled up, not the best thing to do before thanksgiving lol i would still have it if my ex wouldnt had been mouthing.

my other concern is that i both dip and smoke. i dont see the smoking being a problem while its healing and i know i wont dip until its fully healed but do either of yall dip and did it/do you think it would cause any problems even after it healed up (most say 4 weeks to heal but i would probly give it 7 to 8 before i started dippin again

i wouldnt dip at all with it but thats just my opion. if u do, u will have to take extra care of it cleaning it. smoking, u will have to wash ur mouth out more.

I had mine done about 8 years ago. I had no problems at all it didn't even really swell up and I was eating regular food a couple hours later. I carried a bottle of mouth wash with me for cleaning my mouth out after I ate. It heals pretty fast atleast mine did for me.

Well im only 29 but im kinda old school when it comes to stuff like that.. I really dont see anypoint in having a tongue piercing. But thats just me. Its just the way I was brought up in church. Well thats my 2cents

Agree! Anyways any guy I have been with that had a tongue ring was no better than a guy without one. So now I see no point in a man having one.

Well maybe not but all I know is I was not impressed what so ever. But really if a guy is good enough he shouldn't need one to do the job right.

i did my hw into it and went to a buddies shop (hes a redneck and dips) and he told me his kept getting infected when he dipped.
and i like dippin more than i want this piercing. so its a no go... any other spots i can think about (other than ears) not a huge fan of lip rings but everything else is fair game...except my special spot...thats a no needle zone |

As for the piercing question...I don't think men should have any. 1 earring is somewhat acceptable, anything else is a little off. |
