I had a the alternator tested at a parts store and the whole time the guy doing the test had a puzzled look on his face. After it was done he looked at me and said the alt is fine but I hate to tell you this you have major engine problems. I asked why he thought that? He replied it's knocking real bad. Oh no he didn't just say that.

This is a testament to how dumb PARTS STORE employees can be. I went to Advanced earlier this week to get some oil and the rest of the goodies I needed to finish my head gasket. The guy asked if he could help I said "yeah do yall have Mobil Delvac?" He took me back to point it out and said how much do you need. I said "three". He gave me a weird look and asked me "3 GALLONS??" I said yeah my truck takes 12 qts total on an oil change. He said, "what are you driving?" I told him and he still looked like he couldn't figure out why I needed 3 gallons of oill.

i went to ntb to rotate my tires and i figured while i was there id get my oil changed to save me the trouble...told em to get my 16 quarts...they said ok (they new it was a diesel and needed that much) they said what oil u want i said royal purp 15w40...the guy looked at me and said um...no one makes 15w40...after about 5 mins of explainin to him that they did i finally went to my truck and got an empty bottle and said see look...15w40...he still wasnt sure they made it...lol...i think he was dropped on his head as a child

You ever hear of "The Dodge Girls commercials?" Probable before your time, they were some "meaty" girls in the back of a Dodge pickup showing how much it could haul. :tttt:

this is why in over 250k miles not one soul has touched my trucks but me. Before that I was too dumb and or lazy to do it myself.

Wait, wait, wait.....everyone hold on a minute! You're telling me that my 01 Dodge Cummins is a diesel????I thought the Cummins was a bigger version of the Hemi, and the green pump at the station was super duper unleaded???????????No wonder I haven't been able to figure out what that dadgum knocking was! I've replaced my lifters and valves every month since I got it!:w2::tttt:
