Ok...so its coming mid april. time to get the old boat out and get er cleaned up.
1. pull er outta the garage. check
2. un cover and apply a thorough clean and interior inspection. check
3. (the fun part) check the fluid levels and hook up the hose. turn water on and let er rip tater chip.:jump:
she starts and runs like a champ. yesssss success. oh wait. whats all that water coming out of the drain plug. where the effff is that coming from. upon inspection i find water pouring from the side of the block under the exhaust manifold.:scare2: cracked 7.4l mercruiser 454 block due to improper winterization. :argh::argh::argh:
4. look for replacement block before memorial day when the official boating season kicks off at the local lake bar and grill.:s:

sure did...as i have the past 6 years. i guess something was off bc year number 7 was not so lucky. but i have done some checking and have already ordered a new reman block from a guy that bought it fo his boat and decided to go bigger before he put it together. 300 bucks later and probably about two weeks from now and a little more dough i should be back in buisiness.:w2:

oooooooo ive seen those twin turbo dmax's in powerboat mag...that would be pretty sweet but i dont even want to see the price tag on that thing...altho i would love to bolt a cummins in there as i am a cummins fan:rocking:
