I aint no expert by any means here, but until somebody else chimes in that knows more I will give it my best shot here. The 32 or 64 bit I beleive depends on your monitor and not the Windows XP program. It all depends on what your monitor supports for colors. I run XP but I have a 10 year old monitor so I'm still runnin 32 bit.
This is if I'm understanding what your lookin for. Just go to Start Control Panel Appearances Settings. In settings it will give you the options that your montior will support. |
so ifin ya got the 64 than yer monitor will be twice as big then.......................J/K
hell I dunno even what a windows XP is "give: |
32 bit and 64 bit refers to the speed/capability of the operating system...64 bit OS's can process and run much quicker then the old 32 bit systems...it has nothing to do with the monitor or color settings

Also you have to have a 64bit processor to run Windows XP (or any other OS) in 64bit. [and trust me if you paid for a 64bit processor you'd know it]
To see exactly what you are running open the system properties (either from control panel or right-click on the My Computer from the start menu). |
