you know what grinds my gears?

the guy in the $1500 P.O.S. that barely runs, and has the nerve to call my truck junk, and insists that his POS is fast and my truck is slow :humm:

also the cumminGs guys who think because they have a Cummins that they are dominant over any other diesel out there, and they are always the fastest, most powerful, and has the most torque out of any truck out there... :humm:

caterpillardano 08-15-2013 06:27 PM

Yep, soooo terrible I trade my POS powerless joke for 1, then I bought another, and another. Now I get to spend my money on shiny things instead of wasting my money on constantly fixing that POS Found On Road Dead and experiencing the Driver Returns On Foot syndrome.

Ops, almost forgot the most important one.
Cummins is sooo terrible Ford had to buy them.

When people tell me I spend to much time and money on my truck, then want me to race everyone that lives. I am still running stock injectors its not that fast.
Also getting my truck emissions tested, seeing the pedal get pushed through the floor by someone that is not me.

You know what grinds my gears, people that don't realize even the all mighty cumstain can become a POS when a retard forgets to maintain it.

Same can be said for wives, girl friends, and government.

What grinds my gears is

People who I barely know come up to me and say " hey man hook me up with a job bro cause your jobs sick as hell "

No. Just no.

People who constantly bum off of others, people who don't have a vehicle yet insist both my cars are stupid or lame. People who think every 20 year old is supported by their parents. I'm 20 and make more than my parents. And ricers. That God awful muffler and so much cheap plastic.

I know a lot of people like this. Houston is a very aggravating place to live if these things grind your gears.

Grinds my Gears

Students and parents at a Colorado high school are outraged after administrators turned down their request for a spirit week day honoring America because it might offend non-Americans. :dang::dang::bat::bat:

“They said they didn’t want to offend anyone from other countries or immigrants,” a 16-year-old member of the student council told me. “They just really did not want to make anyone feel uncomfortable.”

Non Americans yet they live in america?.... that should grind everyone's gears.

What grinds my gears: people that start their car/truck and then immediately rev the living hell out of it and then either shut it right off or drive away WOT. Being in high school I see that every day. One kid driving his dads 12 valve did this every day and eventually blew the engine, another kid driving daddies Powerstroke did the same and destroyed his engine in a fantastic display of flames one day. I understand the negative sentiment about kids my age, I don't associate with most of them and consider myself an exception. I work for what I have and enjoy every moment of it.

Another thing, people that have no respect for the 6.2/6.5 diesels, the guys at school don't know dip about it and automatically dismiss it as a turd. I spent a lot of time learning about my truck and even more time (and money) maintaining it and fixing the PO's mistakes. It is now as reliable as can be and always makes me smile :tu:

what grinds my gears is when we are on the tractors and pulling wagons and people pass in turns and blind spots in dangering everybody involved just because they can't wait for a safe place to pass.

what SHOULD christians act like.

I mean, I don't think you should cut people off and flip the bird every time some other driver farts in your general direction. Maybe they're christian and maybe they aren't. I think that they should work on their driving aggression and try to be a good example to christ since they're going to put a sticker and show that they listen to christian radio.

What grinds my gears is when people feel the urge to tell me that their Cummins,Duramax, etc. is superior to my 6.0. I understand that the 6.0 has problems but so does every other engine. It's like they just have to throw in their two cents and make it appear as though they know what they're talking about when they're just attempting to justify their Bullwinkle tow mirrors on a truck that hasn't towed anything over 1,000 pounds. Seriously. If you want to have an intelligent discussion on the pros/cons of a 6.0 to others, do it. But cut the superiority shit out.

Religion has been responsible (imo) for more wars, deaths, hate etc than any thing I could name off the top of my head. I would expect that from a religious person before I would expect it from someone going on with their day lol. Sure there's some great Christians out there but there's good atheist out there too. Religious people seem to be more worried about what others are doing than themselves from what I've seen...heck I used to be a very religious person. We're talking religion not belief in a higher being or faith.

I see I started something, and it is getting very close to the "The Bomb Shelter Take Cover ! All Off Topic Discussions , Anything And Everything Not Diesel Related Absolutely No Politics or Religion" rule now so I think I will change the subject.

what grinds my gears is when I am hauling heavy equipment and a person on a side street who sees me decides its ok to just pull right out in front of me, making me slam the brakes, and then commence to doing 5-10 under the speed limit..

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

you know what else grinds my gears? when I joined this site i mistakenly "signed in with facebook" so it gave me the user name I have. so I tried contacting the admins to change it and to this date have not got a response

MOPARTIM 04-16-2014 10:04 PM

All public displays of religion should be banned!! Lord forbid we offend some other creed.... Screw off and let's bench race! Who wants to talk some diesel!??

Wasn't trying to go there. Just pointing out that the your religion of choice doesn't lock us all to the same moral standard.

I never said what MY religion was, but i am a recovering catholic....I was just conveying that people who state something on their vehicles should try to follow what they present to the public.. it like if you put a choose life sticker on your car after having 3 abortions

Agreed. Guess I should have worded that differently. "An individual's religious beliefs do not automatically tie them to a set of morals."

What grinds my gears is when some a hole biker wants to rev the crap outta his gay bike beside my rolled down window whith my wife and one year old baby sleeping and didnt do it just once but twice and i didnt even blow any smoke or nothing on him i was nice but blood was boiling now im gonna cruise town til i find him and let him choke on some coal!!

What grinds my gears is lifted trucks with those huge rims that have the rubber band meats on them.

I think it's funny seeing those trucks with the rim centers broken or studs ripped off. Check rating capacities and more offset applies more stress to lug studs. Common sense isn't so common.:pca1:

bluedieselram 07-25-2014 11:25 AM

what grinds my gears is the stupid little ricers that rind under my bumper to point where I cant see em:bat: gotta love having trailer hitch for quick stops:w2:
