The gov should give us a few thou to party with!!

The government should give all us regular tax-payers a few thou to party with, since they threw way more than that to AIG, and :ph: AIG :ph::ph: will have no penalties for partying away our money! So, maybe the gov should fund all us regular folk a nice party! Then instead of calling them our government, we can call them our "Party-ment" ! :madd:

I can't say I don't disagree with you - If we're going to reward them for running their business into the ground and then giving them a second chance.
You know, they've already ran it into the ground; unless they showed a new business plan or blew out some CEO's what makes you think they're not going to just do it again... they didn't get it right when it was on their dime; why would they try harder on ours?
THEN they get to go on vacation and party out in the OPEN that they BONED us and got away with it...
I would have much rather upping the FDIC insurance up to 500k or something useful TO THE PEOPLE. :argh:

I'm not serious about the gov funding parties, I'm angry that we funded AIG and then they threw a big party. It's just f---in' ridiculous. I didn't really want to spend my money to foot the bill for someone elses party, and I'm guessing I'm not the only one who feels this way. aaarrrggg!!!!

No I totally caught your drift, I kinda took it off topic though:argh:
I read about that AIG thing, it was something like 426K wasn't it?
I hope they had fun, I really think they should be brought up on charges. :bat:
On another note, just think about what it's doing to their company's reputation and the public's outlook on them? Great business move there part...huh? Idiots.
I know I wouldnt buy crap from them now, I wonder how many others feel the same way.

I actually had our commercial insurance through them for a couple of years. They are near impossible to deal with from a service standpoint.

They have been spending a good amount of money of sporting events recently.

$426k for a freaking party? I wasn't aware of that. That had to be the party of a lifetime... having a party that's all funded for by the american people to celebrate that they had to have help in order to keep their doors open.

Here ya go, if you're having a good day don't read it - it'll piss you off! AIG takes $122.8 billion of taxpayer money, enjoys luxury resorts - BloggingStocks

Something about all of this ought to be criminal... lots of people need to be fired, and many people need to go to prison. (But, not some prison camp with tennis and racquetball pro on staff.) :argh:
