Golden retrievers are good dogs, I've got a male 8 months old and a female 1 year old. The female is alot shyer than the male. Very good around the kids. Congrats:pals:

Good dogs, yes. Good pets, not always. GR's ususlly have alot of energy and don't like to be penned up. Take good care of her.

I see a lot of a owners stick there pets in a small pen or keep em tied up 24/7. The way I see it is if you train them right, you don't need to tie em up or stick them in a cell. She will enjoy being able to run around, well to a certain extent!
