I would love the etched cummins but since you cant do that anymore then I guess something like looked like a cummins piston but necks down/ tapered to the shifting rod.

I could probably do something like that.. What diameter would you want it to be?

Dodgemanstan 10-26-2012 08:34 AM

Width maybe 2.5''-3''
Length 3.5''

Maybe just a scaled down version so it is proportional. I'm 6'5 and have big hands, I just dont want anything to small... What is your estimated cost on this knob "PM".

Dude... Sorry about this. I thought that I had replied back to this a couple weeks ago. How about this? Would you want a wrist pin hole bored in the side of it?

Dodgemanstan 11-15-2012 10:06 PM

Sorry been out and about for a bit... Humor me, whats the wrist pin?

It is the pin that connects the piston to the connecting rod. Please see the attached pic for the hole I am talking about.

Index of /Weighted_Shift_Knobs Can you make one like that first one out of aluminum? I would be all in on getting one from you if you can. Thanks, Mt my email is trappinghunting@hotmail.com

Yeah that 1st one looks really straight forward.. I could make that.. How big would you want the outside diameter of the center section.

Hey Farmboy1,

Have you been able to start etching yet? I know you were wanting to a longgg time ago.

Auto right now.:argh:As soon as I drop in a manual, your the first guy I'm talking to I've got a pretty crazy idea. How complicated can you make em?

I have a 2010 dodge with the six speed manual. Does anybody know if the shifter knob is splined or threaded and what size. Thanks
