Default chip

just bought ts chip from advanced diesel and i put it in starts up runs good but doesnt seem like it it giving it what it should, kinda seems like it spudders right when i lay into it hard and can only see smoke right off line cant tell any other time, cerious cuz my buddys is a bit faster and smokes lots more with just chip? can this chip not work all the way or does it either work or not work?

make sure the terminal is pretty clean and if your running stock injectors you don't notice anything unless you have it set on the 100 or 140 settings

I daily drive it on 100 is it bad to daily on 140?

With stock injectors, your hp gains will be around 60hp in the highest setting. Your buddies truck could be q cali model or something. The hesitation could be a number of things but check the connection of the chip first.
