Default 03 3500 qc shortbed purchase?

I'm looking at an 03' 3500 slt with the nv5600 trans. It is a quad cab short bed and looking at it interior and exterior that it don't have 50000 miles. It has 153,000 miles and the dealer wants $20,999 that seems a little high to me. It has power everything and cloth seats and its stock. Any input would be great thanks

It's worth what ever someone will pay for it

But IMO, that is way to high for an 03 model they are about 6,000 high imo

That's what I thought also. I love a cummins but I also found an 08' f250 with the 6.4 in it six speed with around 150,000 miles on it. But its only an XL with the vinyl floors which I don't mind that but its only an extended cab and a long bed. I really want a quad cab short bed, its $15,000.

I just paid $19000 for an o3 Ram 3500 quad cab single wheel rear axle with 80000 miles on it. It had the full Laramie package with leather interior and very nice diamond plate pattern floor mats. Also cam with AFE full free flow intake system and 4" exhaust. Got full service records etc. Condition inside and out was nearly flawless.
Add to that I'm in Alaska and I think I did Ok. Would have preferred to pay less but when I got to looking around at what was available in the model years I could afford this truck seemed like a pretty Ok deal given the miles and condition. Always see if you can run a VIN# check before you buy. Several trucks I looked at had been stolen. Stolen often equals "Joy Ride" and significant abuse. Happily mine was clear.
Like someone said - it's worth whatever you pay for it.
One nice thing; if you compare almost any diesel powered truck with gas powered trucks you'll notice that the diesels hold their resale value much better.
Enjoy your new (to you) truck!
