I bought a 08 mega cab with the 6.7 , the last owner did the dpf/cat delete and has the edge with attitude tuner that shuts off the regeneration of the dpf. I bought a sinister diesel egr/cooler delete and was wondering if I could install it with what I all ready have done to the truck or should I wait until I buy a tunner that handles both deletes? Thanks!!

 

You will need a tuner like a smarty or a H&S Xrt or Mini Maxx to take care of the egr codes.

 

thanks I guess I`ll wait til I get another tuner that will work on both deletes. I asked this same ? on another dodge site and acouple of guy`s said I could do it that the code would be a soft code and that I woild have to wait about 30 secodes before I start the truck before the edge would clear the codes. I have to wait about 30 secodes for the edge to clear the codes for the dpf delete , if I don`t I geta chech engine light. I was hoping to be able to do the delete before I buy a new tuner, but if i should wait I will!! Thanks again for the help!!
