vp died....can i go ho pump to so

Okay so driving down the interstate and all of a sudden truck coughed and died. 16psi to pump, tried bleeding injectors and nothing. Towed it home and got..

So ip is condemed dead.

Now i need to order a pump and im trying to figure out if i can get a SO pump to replace the HO pump? Is it straight forward with no issues?

Yes it is straight forward, the only real difference is in the actual IP. However you will notice a slight decrease on the low end but an increase on the top end, with the SO pump.
