can you change the three speed autotrans out for a four speed auto trans from the same decade.

they will swap outbut the 700R4 will by my knowledge never last very long behind the 6.2 you may consider doing a manual conversion instead on these trucks it would'nt bevery hard to do that instead

the trans does need another gear!!! don't sacrifice durability though.
