If it were me I would back flush the heater core to make sure there's no clog and it's free flowing and do the same thing for the radiator. Back flush it in both directions. If your having it overheat going up hill or under load then that's when the truck is working its hardest an under the most strain.
If everything is flowing freely with no restriction check the fan clutch. It should not spin freely. When you spin it there should be significant resistance. It will spin but not easily. If it takes little effort to spin it then it's bad and needs replacing. I hope this helps.

I agree as well. That's why I suggested to flush and back flush the radiator and heater core because of that reason 2MuchJunk gave. It's very important these trucks stay cool and not overheat. It's a pain having to change headgaskets and you don't want to do that.
how hot is hot need a temp my 95 runs 195degree and if air temps is 95-105(Atlata ,Ga) runs 195-200 and I just put new stats in it tryed to get 180degree stats but parts are hard to get for these beasts. oh yeah my truck has only 68k on it and is in ment condition but still have to work on it daily
it is a 6.5 and means work on daily but I love it

220* to 240* is hot. Normal is 160* to 180*. 195* isn't bad but it should definitely run cooler then that. I can tell you with it having such low miles it has set a long time and there would most certainly will be corrosion clogging something up. Flush, flush and reflush. Make sure EVERYTHING is flowing correctly with no blockage or slow flowing.
