Default max recommended rpm for 12 valve

I have a 12 valve cummins in my 87 chevy, it is mated to a turbo 400. I have 3.73 gears and 37 inch tall tires. I am trying to drive this truck 2800 miles from az to md but at 62 mph I am 2200 rpm. I will also be pulling a 30ft gooseneck with a blazer on it. I am fine with going 60-62 cause I have all the time in the world but will that many rpm damage my engine?

Thanks

Do you know the weight of the trailer?

Imo 2200 would be fine, but that is a long haul.

My 24v redlines a 3300 or so stock.

Just take the slow ride.

Cheers,
Scott

not sure of trailer weight, the blazer I will be towing is probably 5-6000lbs. I just found out I can put a older 14 bolt dually axle in and take it down to a 3.21 gear and drop about 500rpm. that would be pretty cheap...I bought this truck with the conversion done so I know nothing about this engine...mileage, mods, maintenance..... just a little nervous.

my 12 valve in 4 ton ford produces 190 hp at 2300. 2300 is 60mph. should be able to run all day with healthy engine. ran cummins KTA 19's 2100 rpm for 12 hours strait in boats.
