Default Adding fuel = power?

How can i get more power and economy out an 85 6.2? can i turn up the injection pump? Do they have a shavable fuel plate? Please, Please let me know what you think.

new injectors, keep up on PM, you can, but not any more than 1/8", not really recommended, not sure about the fuel plate.

Not exactly sure where in Indiana you're located but you may try to contact Craigville Diesel. Do a simple google search to get their contact info. Nice people to deal with.

I purchased a rebuilt pump from them for my '85 GMC K2500. The gentleman i talked to asked if I did a lot of hauling or towing. I told him that I do pull my car trailer every once in a while. he said he would "turn up" the pump a bit for me. Made quite a bit of difference compared to the old pump.

Granted the 'ol 6.2 isn't roasting the tires by any means but at least I can pull my trailer a bit easier with the rebuilt pump.
