Default Egr/cooler delete question

I know that it has probably been on here 100 times, but I can't find any answers anywhere. Can you install a egr/cooler delete without having a tuner or dpf delete? I know the CEL will come on, but will it harm anything else?

You can you will have an Cel. But wasting your time it will just plug yourdpf a hell of alot faster. And prolly lose power from the codes you will set off

i have heard of people doing this and then being stranded in the middle on nowhere because their truck shut down because it know something was wrong and went into a limp mode. and besides, you wont get the full potential out of your truck with just the deletes, sooner or later you will get jellos of those people rollin coal and hauling but down the road.
