i have a 02 f-350 my edge fried my pcm and idm thats what the codes pulled up said i replaced both and still no start, any ideas what could be causing the problem it will cank over but will not get any rpm's also changed the cam senisor and still no luck, i would love any advise anyone has!

 

Did you take the edge off? If it blew a PCM I would hope you didnt put it back on... FYI, no 02 or newer truck will show RPMs on the tach while cranking.

 

Its simply not possable for the Edge unit to "fry" your IDM... PCM, MAYBE... thats a big maybe.

Get a scanner on it and see what the ICP pressures are doing.

 

Did u call edge I had the same problem with my edge Evo when I first got my truck then they walked me through how to fix it. and most of us here use dp tuners and ts chips so idk if anyone will be able to help u out as much as edge could.
But after edge walks u through how to fix it if ur still doesn't work then I would say more then the tuner.

how can a edge unit fry pcm? ive had mine for a while and few people i know who has them never had a problem with mine gonna sell it soon going to go with a ts chip

 

i can personally say that edge smoked the PCM in my 96. i changed tunes and right towards the end of the flash process, it did some weird triangle,to square, to trapaziod pattern on the screen. i thought it was ok ish so i fired it up and it loped 3 times and quit. PCM was cooked. but that was with a basic edge evolution.

 

I ran the edge evo for a few years and never had a problem.

 

Ya has an attitude tho which is in the fly compared to the Evo which isn't.
But OP any luck with the truck yet?
