Default Gauge Sweep?

I know I rarely see any new post in the 6.7 section so I had to make an account on another forum, but does anyone know how to make the gauges sweep on start up on a 2012 f250. I've seen a video on YouTube of a 2011 doing it idk if it was just the 2011s that did it or is there some setting you can change to make it do it. Any advice or inputs is appreciated

Dang it man...Now I'm going to have to go out and see if mine does it.

Nope. Mine doesn't do it. You'd probably be talking about some ECM reprogramming to get that done. Not very likely.

Okay, so this is an old thread, but, it's not like there is much new here. This is a forum for CTD owners . But anyway for the record, in case people end up here from a search result or whatever...

They got rid of the startup gauge sweep on the 2012+ models for reasons not clear to me.

If you want to go into test mode (which includes a gauge sweep test function among many other things), hold down the 'Reset' button on the steering wheel (or down arrow, if the gauges are equipped with the LCD display) while turning the key to the 'On' position.
