The quest for double-digit fuel economy at 88,000 pounds!There are more than 2 million truck drivers currently employed in the United States, and something like 150 billion miles are logged each year during their travels. With ever-tightening emissions standards, new 2012 rigs are mired in the 5- to 7-mpg range, which equates to quite a hefty fuel bill by the end of the year.
