Default truck was wrecked, now having a few issues...

Well my buddy was nice enough to wreck my truck for me and I finally got it put back together but it has a few issues. When I'm driving the truck, sometimes it will completely power almost like the pcm dies out. It cuts out, the WTS light comes on, my gauges reset, and when it gets power back the throttle doesnt respond unless I let off of it and push it again. Any suggestions on what could be causing this?

Also, my ac quit working all the time. It worked perfect before the wreck. When I first turn it on, it blows ice cold for about 15-20 minutes then it blows hot. Sometimes it will start blowing cold again but hardly ever. Once the truck cools down itbwill blow cold again. What could be the problem here? Thanks.

Check all the wiring for the electrical problem. Check for freon leaks in the a/c.

i'd say you have a dead short some where. on my 94 the crappy jack crank wiggled loose and hit the positive terminal and i lost power for everything.

I got it all fixed. Pos. wire from sol. to the starter got pinched in the wreck i guess and was arcing on the frame. One of the wires for ac compressor is loose or something. When I pull it one way, the comp. kicks on but when i let go of it the comp. shuts off. I zip tied the wire over and it works perfect.

wrap some tape on it. then a thin piece of ruber with zip ties or tape on it. make sure it doesn't do it again. i can't imagine it's good for the PCM.

That's what i did. I wrapped a peice of a radiator hose around it and taped it up real good. I think itll hold up for a while.
