Hi guys I was wondering about how to clean the injectors in my common rail safely. I took them out because Im putting in head studs and valve springs to turn it 3800. Havent had an injector in my hands to see all the carbon build up on them . I would imagine that would be normal with 85000 miles and a smarty on it the last 75000 miles. If there is any one with some insite on if the injectors have alot of carbon on them is normal and how to clean them I would appreceite it. Thanks

 

I would say soak them in some injector cleaner. But I have never cleaned any so..... I am sure someone will chime in.
