3" lift on a gmt 400 is about the worst place you can be for finding aftermarket suppliers.
Torsion bar lifts (IE: cranking the keys) gets you 1.5-2 inches, Suspension lift kits start around 4". There's just no money in marketing a 3" kit for a body style that's been discontinued since 1998/2000.
Plus;Torsion bars lifts just plain suck, suspension drop kits are a PITA to install and if they're not high quality you end up with wear and durability issues.
About all I can suggest for such a small amount of "lift" is that you may want to consider a body lift kit if all you're after is to fit larger tires under it.
You'll get your bigger tires under it and still maintain you original suspension geometry.
Body lifts aren't ideal either, but it seems the best solution for the scenario you have....

make sure they sell you bumper brackets with the lift, nothing will line up. also body lifts make the truck "roll" alot more.
how big of tires are you pputting on? i have 33s on my truck with the bars cranked 2 turns
