I was driving my truck today and fuel level was dropping fairly fast so I pulled over shut it off and popped the hood and the passenger side of the injection pump was wet. Any ideas? 84 f250 6.9 4x4 manual

 

Howdy friend this is JD aka:7.3 idi 1990, I can only think of two things leakin from that side, either your fuel lines where they screw in to the pump have goten loose and causin it to leak, causin that and it'll suck air and run pretty bad, or the cover for the adjustment screw is leaking cause the gasket is not tight enough or it is craked and needs to be replaced.

sounds like the adjustment cover if I hade to guess
