Default Stock 2nd Gen Backspacing Dilema

Hey guys, ive been trying to look up the stock back spacing on my 2002 Dodge Ram 2500. It has the stock alloy ( Chrome ) wheels. It seems that everyone thinks they have somewhere between 4.5 and 5.5" of backspacing. Im measuring 6.25" backspacing.. Ill see if I can get the picture up? Are people measuring wrong here or am I? What is the actual backspacing? What is the rim width if anyone knows?

Im measuring from the rear lip to mounting flange, as stated on every last site ive ever checked.

Thanks,
Justin H

6.25 is correct and they are 16x8s for 2000-2002.

Pretty good post on stock sizes.
