Default OBS headlight, cab lights, taillight black out

Im wanting some thoughts on blacking out my lights. My buddy gave me a can a spray paint that you spray on the lights to black them out and he did it on his 07 cummins and it looks pretty good but do you guys think it would look good on a obs? The truck is white with a silver middle stripe. I dont want to take the time to do this if its going to look like s### after a month such as chipping or fading. Thank You

I had black out covers on my F150 and it made the truck I think.

IF you do it right, and are patient, the black-out can look good. Make sure you check with your state's laws though. I know in Texas, black-outs are illegal, even though I see them all the time. All is takes is one cop being a pr*ck and you get a big ticket.

The key to doing it well, is preparation. Make sure all your lenses are clean clean clean. I would even lightly scuff the lenses with fine grit sandpaper and then clean it again before painting. Also, make sure you use light, even coats of paint. If you layer it with very light coats, you can get the exact look you want (without going too dark). Personally, I think black-outs can look great, if done right.
