was driving down the road in my buddies 04 LB7 and it acted up like an injector (lot of injector cackle and hazing white smoke out of the exhaust and rough running) truck ended up dying as we were pulling over, sat for about 10-15 minutes then started right up and ran perfect..... any ideas??

 

Anyone have an idea?

also attempted to pull the codes on it and the truck did not show any codes

 

Could have been throwing codes around I know if it duramaxs do act up and you shut it off and let it sit sometims it does reset it's self but the white smoke is more than likely injector, head gasket, bad fuel who knows but the crakle could be the injectors screwing the heads I'd get it to the shop asap
