Default Faulty fuel gauge???

WHats the cheapest, easiest way to fix this. My gauge showed over 1/4 tank and I ran out on the interstate towing a car.

For $60 I got the new float and such that goes on the sending unit and connects through the plug, biggest pain is to either drop the tank or remove the bed to get to it....

While you are in there, you might as well spend another $60 on the Vulcan Draw Straw

Do a search for draw straw or fuel gauge and you will find everything you would ever want to know. There was a post about this last week or so.

most likely you have the 1/4 tank issue... how much fuel were you able to add?
