Default shocks?

my one ton has a 4.5 lift, would like to replace the shocks. what do you guys like? is it reasonable to do the dual shock bracket for the front? does it help at or or just waste money? any advice on shocks is appreciated

I dont think dual shocks are necessary... i would just spend some coin and get a really nice set of single shocks! Bilstein 5100's seem to be popular

How about some Fox 2.0 shocks...

A little salty but worth every penny in my opinion. Dual shocks to me are a waste of money. No need when one quality shock will control the axle just fine

I have 5100's on mine. It was a huge improvement. I prefer the 7100's but at the time they were a while out, so I stuck with the 5100's. Unless you are a dune runner you don't need a shock like King or Fox.

They are the same, just a remote ressie. But in order to need a remote ressie, you would need to cycle the shock more than a DD will to see any benefit over the monotube.
