So i went outside this morning to star my truck and once i started it i noticed that the 4x4 low light would flash then stop. Like i was trying to change into 4x4. So i just played with the switch and it went away. But now the 4 low tries to engage in the 2 wheel drive setting so u cant go anywhere in 2wd. If u try to put it into 4 low it wont change it will flash for a bit then it will put the transfer case in neutral. so the only thing that works right now is the 4x4 high. Any ideas on whats wrong or how to fix it?

 

those transfers are pretty simple. i would say the motor on the tranny is not working right. another problem is the chain stretching out because of low fluid. if you didnt hear a bad noise its not a chain. if you know a buddy that has the auto transfer try his motor on yours. they are kinda pricey.
