Default Getting a 24 Valve to 800 Horsepower Safely.

I want to get my 1999 24 Valve to 800 horses safely. I've heard lots of talk of ppump conversions but i want to stick with the electronic controls. I know i have to build the tranny and do the head studs and such, but as far as fuel pump lift pump possible electronics and turbo set up, how should i go about that?

Right now ive just got a k&n filter, turbo silencer ring pulled and a straight pipe done. I want to get the transmission done in the next few months after that i want to work on the fueling system. Any advice guys?

Do fuel system first. You won't make 800hp on an s.o, h.o, or hotrod vp44. You need either a monster pump or a p-pump, and that's a small chunk of change compared to what else you'll need... do you realize 800hp is a pretty high number? I hope you have deep pockets.

you will not I repeat not hit 800hp on fuel alone you will need the juice. big injectors, compound turbos or a big single edge drag comp, o-ring head. fass 150 110# valve springs, titanium retainers and a shop that knows how to make it all work. I see yours is a 99 better check for a 53 block

If you are going for the 800hp the transmission needs to have all billet shafts and possily a billet drum,3 disk TQ valve body. You better p-pump the truck, port the head and 110# valve springs( I would use a CR head off a 2006 truck ) you will need a cam, compounds, water-meth, a better intercooler, traction bars, polt inserts for the motor mounts,

7x.023's? Those are huge! Who made them and what pump are you running?

I want to get the fueling system set up to run in the direction of 800+ work on the turbos next and getting the block built to handle the extra ponies. Then start work on tuning it for max horsepower.

Better start pulling the head, buying lots of parts and find someone with a dyno.
