Died while driving *Update*
OK my truck died while driving it the other day and will not start back up.. It wants to and it turns over strong.... But no go, so ive done the following:
checked the alternator
new batteries
changed the cam position sensor
drained the fuel bowl and it's refueling
changed the valve cover gasket and wiring harness's
checked the HPOP for oil
checked the fuses
I just got the following codes:
P1280- injector control pressure circuit out of range- low
p0381- glow plug indicator circuit malfunction
p0603- PCM processor keep alive memory (KAM) error
ANY help would be appreciated

why don't the mean much...? the first code from what i've researched means theres a problem with the ICP and if i'm putting two and two together right... wouldn't that be causing my problems? and the truck is already put back together.
the 0603 is from disconnecting the batts, the 1280 has to do with ICP but if you unplug the ICP sensor and try to start it, the computer will return to a default table of values... If it starts without the ICP sensor plugged in, then you've found your problem...
That's why that code popped up... That's why I said it didn't mean much.
Are you getting smoke out the tail pipe at all when cranking? How's the oil in the crankcase?
Do you live anywhere near somebody with a scanner that can read powerstrokes? knowing the ICP and Duty cycle will help this diagnosis.

no im new to the area i am at fresh oil change so the oil level should be good and clean... and no smoke when i crank it before it died... on cold mornings it there would be white smoke and if it was really cold or sat for a couple days there would be no throttle response until the truck warmed up for about 30 seconds to a minute
That's typical of a cold diesel, you should always warm it up for a few minutes before driving. Does your Wait To Start light come on and go off like normal? Did you unplug anything like the IDM or PCM harness?
Yes the light comes on like normal... also when its cold.. it sounds like its dieseling when i drive it sometimes...
no to unplugging the harnesses... I just found out the IDM harness is behinf the drivers side fender well? and Where is the PCM harness... if you have pictures that would be awesome.
