94's been sitting for a year
Well my 94 has been sitting for about a year with no activity. I'm going to change the oil and fuel filter before I start driving it again. Is there anything else I need to do?
i definitly will. it's getting loaded on a trailer and then getting fuel up. IIRC it has about 1/4 in each tank, so i'm guessing there is some water in there. should i try to drain it out?
keep draining that water/fuel seperator and changing fuel filters
And go buy some of that $60 fuel additive from Stanadyne, not the $10 stuff that only treats like 100 gallons. The $60 dollar stuff treats like, 500 gallons and cleans out your tank so when you change you fuel filter it looks like spaghetti being pulled through a strainer

who sells that stuff? i should probably run that in my 99. do i run it every tank or what?

but if i get junk coming thru the filter, how much of that is going to the injectors?

Again I'm not 100% sure... I got a case at a construction equipment expo, Stanadyne which is made in CT (my home state) was there with a booth selling the additive for practically nothing. Since then I haven't been able to find any, nor have I been to the construction expo.
Stanadyne is made literally 20 minutes from my home in CT, I'll phone home and try to get some info
