Default 94's been sitting for a year

Well my 94 has been sitting for about a year with no activity. I'm going to change the oil and fuel filter before I start driving it again. Is there anything else I need to do?

Nothing that I can really think of... Make sure to get some fresh fuel soon.

i definitly will. it's getting loaded on a trailer and then getting fuel up. IIRC it has about 1/4 in each tank, so i'm guessing there is some water in there. should i try to drain it out?

I would run one tank dry, then fill that tank while running the other dry...then drain the seperator and change the filter. Right or wrong, that's what I'd do.

keep draining that water/fuel seperator and changing fuel filters And go buy some of that $60 fuel additive from Stanadyne, not the $10 stuff that only treats like 100 gallons. The $60 dollar stuff treats like, 500 gallons and cleans out your tank so when you change you fuel filter it looks like spaghetti being pulled through a strainer

but if i get junk coming thru the filter, how much of that is going to the injectors?

Again I'm not 100% sure... I got a case at a construction equipment expo, Stanadyne which is made in CT (my home state) was there with a booth selling the additive for practically nothing. Since then I haven't been able to find any, nor have I been to the construction expo.

Stanadyne is made literally 20 minutes from my home in CT, I'll phone home and try to get some info
