Default 1985 for 4+4 swap from gas to diesel

do i have to change ratios and is a dana 50 front and dana 60 rear heavy duty enough to handle a 7.3 with a 5 speed

a 7.3 weighs around 900-950lbs i believe. What gears are you running? those axles are what come under the front ends of a lot of diesel trucks, but for heavier hauling Id go with a bigger rear

4.10s would probably be a good gear for towing but still high enough for daily driving in my opinion..

i really wouldnt be pullin much i jus puttin bigger tires on it and towin my pullin tractor to the pulls
