Default Storing a truck

I am having to go overseas for a year or so. How would you store the vehicle where it is ready to go when I return.

When we store boats we fog the engine so that rust doesn't build on the cylinder walls. We used marvil mystery oil to do this all we did was either dump it in the carb slowly until it started smoking and died if it was fuel injected most manifolds had a small plug on top and we removed it slowly poured in there. I don't know how you would do this with a diesel but not a bad idea if your going to leave it and not run it for a long period of time.
