Im am curious to what iv heard from people regarding stage three injectors. They claim that stage threes can be ran on a stock turbo and stock fuel system. Thay stated that they just had the injectors tuned to a really low level close to stock so it would not hurt anything. It there any truth to this? BTW the trucks were a 96 and a 94.5 powerstroke.

 

Yes you can detune the injectors. Read the injector sticky

so if you wanted to you could make 238/100s run at the same level as the stock 90cc injectors?

 

You could make it run at 5hp if you wanted

 

Just pick an injector that you can afford and fits your goals for the truck and run it. IMO, get the injector that fits your goals. Having the biggest injector isn't going to get you anywhere if you cant afford to run it. If you want 400 hp, a 160/80-100 will get your right there with supporting mods.
