What is the best tune I could get for a TS style chip?

Tyrant, wildman, beans, gearhead, PHP, elite. Take your pick, there is no "best" tuner its what works best on your pickup

 

Is there one that is better for a 97 7.3L than others, or is it just the one that fits my needs best?

 

One that fits your needs the best some outfits don't have all the tunes that another may have and some may only offer "canned" tunes or tunes straight from ts, like alligator I think can do tyrant or Tony wildman or something. Just to give you an idea I have php tunes and they are high idle, light tow, daily drover, performance, extreme, and no start.
