Default FASS stock replacement pumps

I'm trying to get an idea of what everyone thinks of these?? My truck has a newer VP44 and I'd like to preserve it, mainly...and on a budget, without a complicated install.

FASS DODGE DIRECT REPLACEMENT FUEL PUMP 98.5-02 CUMMINS | eBay

I have a 4" pipe, K&N, and an Edge EZ box. I'd like to upgrade to a Juice, primarily for the gauge functions, but otherwise, I dont plan on any crazy mods. Its just a hauler.

Will this pump fuel it okay?

FASS is a good brand, I haven't dealt with any direct factory replacement pumps but they seem to be good for low to mid range HP levels.

Kinda what I thought. I also found this one...

AIRDOG RAPTOR FRRP FUEL PUMP 1998.5-02 DODGE RAM DIESEL | eBay

Supposedly flows a little more than the FASS factory replacement. Although I havent heard of the brand, and also it mentions upgraded 1/2" lines. Are those included then? Are they a pain? So many questions, I know...

I run an AirDog 100 (which is who makes raptor) with 1/2 fuel lines. Been on my truck for 5 years now with no issues. Either one of those will do what you need it to. I would suggest doing the 1/2" fuel lines but that is up to you. You can also get an AirDog or Fass system with filters. Install is fairly straight forward just takes some tools, time, and reading directions. Also if you will request a quote from our vendors here on DB you can get some pretty good deals.

If you have upgrades I would suggest the FASS Platinum series if you want the air separation capability or with the Adjustable fuel pump if you are not. Here is a link for both of them.

Yeah go bigger than stock replacement for sure. I did and didn't have to at the time when I replaced the stock lift pump, but man did I notice a better running truck
